Why Homeplan

Real estate is, at its core, about shelter. The same conviction that drives our institutional investments — that a sound roof above a family is the foundation of stability and opportunity — is what drew us to Homeplan. The foundation works mainly in South Africa, where it has built thousands of permanent homes for families who would otherwise live in informal settlements.

Homeplan is fully Dutch-registered, ANBI-certified, and known for its low overhead and measurable impact: a donation translates directly into bricks, doors, and a registered title for a named family.

Our commitment

We donate a fixed share of the management fee of every Dutch Estate Capital fund to Homeplan, alongside annual contributions from the partners personally. The commitment is contractual, disclosed in our fund documents, and reviewed each year by our depositary.

  • 0.10% of annual management fee on every fund, donated to Homeplan
  • Matched, euro-for-euro, by the partners personally up to €25,000 per year
  • Investors may opt to redirect a portion of their performance distribution to Homeplan; we administer this at no cost

How investors can participate

On every distribution notice, investors are offered the option to redirect 1%, 5%, or 10% of their net distribution to Homeplan. Dutch Estate Capital handles the transfer and provides the appropriate ANBI receipt for tax purposes in your jurisdiction where available.
